На повечето работници в строителството им се налага да преминат курс, който ги информира за опасността при работа с азбест. В тази статия предлагаме малко информация, относно целите и съдържанието на един такъв курс, както и възможностите за неговото завършване.

Азбестът е изключително опасно вещество, което води до сериозни здравословни проблеми за онези, които нарушават правилата за работа с него. По тази причина всеки, който има намерение да е в допир до азбест, трябва да е наясно с правилните процедури за безопасност и здраве, които да следва.

Обучението за азбест (категория А) помага на работниците да разберат рисковете, свързани с материала, така че да могат да избягват работа, която може да наруши азбестовите покрития., Курсът е одобрен от организацията Независими доставчици на курсове за азбест (IATP) и дава пълна информация за опасностите при работа с азбест.  Това обучение помага на работодателите да спазват закона, като гарантира, че техните служители имат необходимата подготовка за безопасна работа.

Трябва да се има предвид, че за всички работници, които планират да работят с това вещество и  които ще участват в процес на умишлено разрушаване на азбестови покрития и материали, се изисква по-високо ниво на обучение (Категория B или C), което не се покрива от този курс.

Надеждност и характеристики на курса:

  • Той отговаря на Наредбата за контрол и спазването на правилата за работа с азбест от 2012 г.
  • Осигурява спазването на безопасни и здравословни условия на труд, според законодателството в Обединеното кралство,
  • Разработен е от експерти, които работят в тази област,
  • Сертифициран е от организациите за  Непрекъснато професионално развитие (CPD) и Независимите доставчици на курсове за азбест (IATP) и одобрен от Кралското дружество за предотвратяване на злополуки (RoSPA),
  • Изцяло онлайн курс и оценка, без ограничения във времето,
  • Пълен аудио дикторски текст,
  • Сертификат за завършване се изпраща на следващия работен ден.

Независимите доставчици на курсове за азбест (IATP)  е национално призната неправителствена организация, работеща съвместно с Ръководителите по здраве и безопасност на труда (HSE).

Логото на IATP за акредитация на курс удостоверява, че обучението за повишаване на осведомеността относно азбеста е било обект на независим одит и отговаря на съответните правила за азбест от категория А.

 Кой би трябвало да премине през този курс?

Този курс  (Категория А) е предназначен за работници, които в рамките на своята работа има вероятност да бъдат в допир или да разрушат материали, съдържащи азбест и е абсолютно необходимо да бъдат обучени, за да работят безопасно. Целесъобразно е също така да бъдат разбрани  опасностите и да бъде избягвана всякаква работа, свързана с разрушаването на азбест.

Според закона курсът трябва да бъде завършен от работници и служители, упражняващи следните професии /и не само/:

  • Инженери по отопление и вентилация,
  • Работници по разрушаването,
  • Дърводелци, строители и строителни работници,
  • Водопроводчици,
  • Покривни контрактори,
  • Бояджии, декоратори и работници, занимаващи се с мазилки,
  • Монтажници на пожароизвестителни и алармени системи,
  • Монтьори,
  • Газови техници,
  • Инсталиращи компютри и инженери по телекомуникации,
  • Служители по общата поддръжка,
  • Работници, които се занимават с полагане на кабели и електротехници.

Съгласно разпоредбата за контрол на веществата, опасни за здравето(COSHH) от 2002 г., работодателите са задължени по закон да осигуряват адекватен контрол на върху излагането на работниците на вредни вещества на работното място. В разпореждане номер 10 от Наредбата за контрол на азбеста от 2012 г. се посочва, че всеки служител, който може да бъде изложен на допир с азбест, трябва да получи адекватна информация, инструкции и обучение, които да гарантират, същият може да защити себе си и останалите, а също и да изпълнява ефективно своята работа.

Това обучение от категорията А е нещо като Опознавателна курс за вредите, които нанася азбеста върху човешкото здраве.

Специфичните предписания,  според Наредбата за контрол и спазването на правилата за работа с азбест от 2012 г. включват:

  • Предотвратяването на допира с влакната от азбест или ако това е невъзможно, се гарантира ограничаването на такъв.
  • Поддържане на излагането на влакна под определена граница на контрол.
  • Започване работа с предположение, че всички материали съдържат азбест, до доказване на противното.
  • Поддържане на актуален писмен протокол за местоположението и състоянието на всички азбестови материали или предполагаеми материали, съдържащи азбест.
  • Осигуряването на писмени бележки/протоколи е достатъчно, за да позволи на друго лице, което евентуално ще работи на вашето място да идентифицира материалите.
  • Необходима е оценка на риска от излагане на влакна от тези материали.

При успешно завършване на курса, на следващия работен ден ще ви бъде изпратени сертификат за качество. Този документ е валиден в случай на одит. Сертификатът показва акредитация от  Независимите доставчици на курсове за азбест (IATP).

Всички курсове са акредитирани от Службата за сертифициране на CPD като отговарящи на общоприетите насоки за непрекъснато професионално развитие (CPD).

Този курс е одобрен и от Кралското дружество за предотвратяване на злополуки (RoSPA), осигурявайки качествено и сертифицирано обучение.

Съдържание:

Курсът се състои от пет достъпни, интерактивни модула, с включен тест на края на обучението, както следва:

  • Въведение – какво е азбест?
  • Къде може да се намира азбестът?
  • Защо е бил използван азбест?
  • Видове азбест и негативни влияния върху здравето.
  • Регулаторната рамка- Правилата за контрол върху азбеста от 2012 г., морално задължение на работниците и служителите и изследвания върху азбеста.
  • Оценка на риска – идентифициране на опасностите, определяне на това кой може да бъде увреден, оценка на рисковете, записване на констатациите и преразглеждане и актуализиране на оценката на риска.
  • Материали, съдържащи азбест – трошливост, контролиране на контакта, заболявания, свързани с азбест, тютюнопушене, гранични стойности на излагане на азбест на работното място, средства за защита на дихателните пътища и наблюдение на здравето.
  • Спешни процедури (ЕМ1), какво да се направи, ако се появят професионални заболявания, пожарни процедури, какво да се направи, ако се освободи опасно вещество и какво да се предприеме, ако има изтичане на азбест.

 След завършване, курсистите ще придобият:

 Знания относно материалите, съдържащи азбест, и защо те могат да бъдат опасни и трябва да бъдат третирани като опасни вещества.

  • Осъзнавне на негативните влияния върху здравето, до които азбестът може да доведе.
  • Умение за оценка на риска при работа с азбест.
  • Разбиране на мерките, необходими за премахване или намаляване на рисковете, свързани с азбест.
  • Усвояване на начин за прилагане на необходимите процедури при спешни случаи.
