Ако имате профил в LinkedIn – направете го изчерпателен
Обърнете внимание на факта, че това е професионален профил и няма нищо общо с Facebook или друга подобна мрежа. Профилът ви трябва да е възможно най-пълен, защото, ако го чете потенциален работодател, той трябва да получи възможно наймного информация за това какви са способностите и уменията ви и какво можете да направите за компанията му – ползи и конкретни резултати.
Реално вашият профил тук е вашата автобиография. За да е по-лесно, можете да копирате повечето от информацията във вашето CV, защото т.нар. Summary (обобщение, резюме) в LinkedIn се явява всъщност Personal Profi le на вашето CV (профила – параграф за вас и вашите умения).
Следващата стъпка е да се присъедините към различни групи и да „следвате“ компании, от които се интересувате. По този начин ще привлечете повече трафик (и внимание) към вашия профил. Но не се присъединявайте към всяка една група, която видите, а изберете само тези, които смятате, че впоследствие биха ви послужили с информация, контакти или дори възможност за работа. След това можете да се свържете с професионалисти във вашата сфера, както и да имате възможност да завържете връзки с хора, които могат да ви помогнат или препоръчат за работа.
Друго нещо, което можете да направите, за да впечатлите работодател, е, ако имате „препоръки“ на вашата страница. Препоръката не трябва да е по-дълга от 2-3 реда, споменавайки, колко добре сте се справили с някоя задача или как добре сте обслужили клиент. Не е нужно нещо дълго и сложно написано, за да направите добро впечатление на работодателя. За да получите препоръка от някои от вашите connections (хората, с които сте се „свързали“ в LinkedIn), трябва само да попитате!
За да търсите директно работа, трябва да кликнете на менюто JOBS, което се намира най-отгоре на страницата. Хубавото тук е, че можете да търсите работа не само по ключови думи и местоположение, но и по големина на компаниятa, индустрия, заплащане, кариерно ниво, функция на позицията (дали е управление, продажби, човешки ресурси, маркетинг и т.н.). Освен приложението си за мобилно ползване на уебстраницата, LinkedIn има и приложението „Connected“, което се използва като списък с контакти, имейли, работен календар, справочник със събития, както и за напомняне на работни годишнини на вашите контакти.
Друго много полезно приложение на LinkedIn e LinkedIn Job Search app. С това приложение търсенето на работа през социалната мрежа става още по-лесно. Тук отново се кандидатства чрез профила ви и затова трябва да му обърнете специално внимание. Имате опцията да запазите работната позиция, от която се интересувате, за по-късно. Приложението ви показва и работни предположения (suggested jobs) според предишни критерии, по които сте търсили работа. Също можете да видите за каква работа сте кандидатствали, коя компания и кога – а това е много полезно, когато ви се обадят за телефонно интервю.
И последното приложение, което ще разгледамe (но не и последно, което LinkedIn притежава), е Recruiter app. Това приложение е за работодатели и агенции, които набират персонал и работят мобилно. Работодателят може да търси и преглежда профили на потенциални кандидати, както и да поства работни позиции, като всичко това прави самия процес на търсене на кандидати по-лесен и за самия него.
